Objectives

In order to continue to deliver on the brand's promise to super serve their millennial audience with premium content, whenever and wherever they are, E! News launched the original Snapchat series, "The Rundown," on Thursday, September 8, 2016. The show gives a unique and humorous take on all things pop culture.

Strategy and Execution

With "The Rundown," E! News became one of the first brands to create a fully produced weekly show specifically for Snapchat and their mobile audience. The show airs in an episodic format on Monday's and Thursday's on Snapchat and is hosted by E! News correspondent, Erin Lim. The show covers everything E! News' passionate, hyper-connected fan base want and need to stay in-the-know on the biggest trending stories of the week along with offering a unique and humorous take on all things pop culture. The series features E! News' signature, fast-paced storytelling formats and voice that fans love about the brand, but includes new programming from E! News that can only be seen on Snapchat.
