About Andrew Huang

Toronto-based musician, producer, and YouTuber Andrew Huang might be taking song titles too literally. For example, he hears “24K Magic” by Bruno Mars and—after accepting one of his fan-suggested challenges—reproduces the entire track with 24 carrot-based instruments. In another challenge, he recreates the beat from the viral sensation “Pen Pineapple Apple Pen” using only (you guessed it) sounds “performed with pineapples, apples, and pens.” He often posts video tutorials, like how to create a beat by sampling one of Donald Trump’s infamous sniffs. But his quirky music abilities are not his only creative outlet—the music videos that go along with the songs are equally impressive, with Andrew also posting videos that describe his creative process for his 550K YouTube subscribers.
