CAROLINA MUNHÓZ is a 26-year-old journalist and a YA fantasy writer. She won the Brazilian Youth Award as “Best Brazilian Young Writer" for her first book “The Fairy" (A Fada). Época magazine named her “the next Cassandra Clare or Alexandra Adornetto on the lists". She has four books (A Fada, O Inverno das Fadas, Feérica and O Reino das Vozes que Não se Calam), this latest one reached for months the best-seller lists (it is until now) and was the number one book sold at São Paulo Book Fair in Rocco Publisher both. Also won “Book of the Year" in 2014 from Atrevida (Major teen magazine). She reached the 1st and 4th place at Brazil’s Trend Topics on twitter. She is represented by the agency Curtis Brown from New York, is getting her EB1 visa and is trying to get her work published in the USA. Currently lives in Rio de Janeiro where she is also a social media addict (more than 75 thousand followers and 220 fan clubs) and columnist for Potterish (4th largest HP website in the world).
