In Cleveland, Ohio there is a happy studio called AG Properties where good ideas begin. There, a team of experienced and inspired individuals dedicate themselves to creating, acquiring and developing character-based properties for entertainment and consumer products. When the ideas are ready to leave the studio, they travel to New York City where an experienced business, sales and marketing team sends them off into the world to make even more people happy. Over the past 30 years, the world has enthusiastically embraced brands from the AGP portfolio such as Care Bears.
Objective: AG Properties teamed up with Tongal for an innovative crowd sourcing activity to create content creatively for their fans, by their fans. This promotion included ideation and video creation prizing of $32,750.
With over 200 ideas submitted and dozens of full pitches, three videos were made and one final was chosen for the grand prize of $12,000. All content will be used by AG for sales, marketing and promotional purposes in the future.
