The objective of this series is to highlight Millennial and Gen Z changemakers who are making amazing strides in their chosen fields. In this episode, we want to showcase how young students, like Alliyah, are improving school safety and raising awareness about racial and social inequalities in the schooling system.
Alliyah Logan is a 17 year-old student in New York City and is an advocate and leader in her community. At such a young age, she has successfully led many empowering programs for Black youth and has focused her attention on addressing the inequalities in the education system.
This story highlights a young woman of color who is inspiring others to uplift their communities. By highlighting her grassroots work we successfully met the objective of shining a light on the next generation of leaders and changemakers.
