Reel Rumble turns this idea into action by fueling a rivalry between three passionate creator communities and rallying them with the language they know best: competition. Through the challenge, gamers were given a platform to showcase their skills, creativity, and passion while transforming raw gameplay moments into high-impact content.
The campaign celebrates players, content creators, and gaming communities by giving them the tools and stage to create, compete, and win.
Lenovo partnered with 3 creators, HappyHappyGal, DrLupo, and CourAge, and built a three-way community challenge around frag video editing. Each creator invited their community to turn their raw gameplay clips from Twitch into high-impact frag reels.
Fans submitted vertical videos using the creator’s clips and shared them on Instagram, tagging Lenovo Legion and using the campaign hashtag, #ReelRumble . Submissions were reviewed live on stream, where creators selected top entries from their own communities.
The strongest reel from each creator advanced to a final public vote, with likes and comments deciding the overall winner. Prizes totalled $40,000, giving aspiring editors real incentive and visibility.
Throughout the campaign, creators used AMD-powered Lenovo Legion devices. Products and specs were shared openly, but creators were never told what to say, allowing honest reactions and content that reflected real experience.
The campaign drove active participation across all three communities, generating original content created by fans, not the brand. Creators engaged directly with their audiences through live reviews and voting, strengthening community connection.
