Fans of Showtime’s Yellowjackets have been STARVING for new content since the cliffhanger ending of Season 2. To announce that cameras were once again rolling in The Wilderness, we created a behind-the-scenes video featuring the cast.
To maximize the impact of this start of production asset, we collaborated with Paramount+ and Showtime handles for engagement and amplification. We wanted to reach our core Yellowjackets fans as well as broader audiences. The objective of this video was to let fans know that the cast was back on set and to drive excitement ahead of Season 3. It helps to build momentum early on, and give the audience something to talk about while in-between cycles.
Fan response was extremely positive, with the audience quick to speculate on any easter eggs or hidden meanings. On TikTok alone, the start of production video garnered 2.5M views and 275K engagements.
