Made For Life

Objective

TenCate Protective Fabrics creates inherently flame-resistant fabrics for end users working in emergency response, military, and heavy industry career fields. 

"Made for Life" is our brand tagline and the driving idea behind the protective fabrics we create. 

We wanted to bring these three words to life in a way that people – both internally, and externally – could truly connect with.

This short video was written and produced in-house as the guiding narrative behind our slogan.

"Made for Life" – a reminder of why we do what we do, and a tribute to the essential professionals around the world who put their trust in our fabrics. 

Strategy

"Made for Life" was produced with an entirely remote team on a very slim budget. Utilizing previously filmed and stock footage, we were able to overcome the challenge of producing a video representative of our global operation and end-user base during a time in which travel was not possible. 

The concept and script were developed in-house, along with the voice-over recording. We worked with a freelance editor to piece together the footage over the course of a week. 

"Made for life" is unique in the sense that our in-house team was able to produce a piece of video that added true purpose for over 700 employees from across the globe – generated in-house without the aid or expense of a creative agency. The video was translated into 5 additional languages to reach our global team (Spanish, Dutch, Chinese, German, French). 

 

Results

As a result of the production of "Made for Life", our global workforce can better connect with the higher purpose of our company slogan, and in turn, connect with the end-users we strive to protect through the creation of our protective fabrics.
