As the official health care partner of the Chicago Bears, one of our top priorities is to provide once-in-a-lifetime experiences to our patients. When Kaylah’s story came to us, we knew we needed to do something special for her. Each season with the Chicago Bears, we receive the opportunity to treat a patient to a “Dream Come True Moment”. This typically entails taking a patient and their family on an all-expenses paid trip to an away game. Kaylah and her family were the perfect fit for this experience. We worked with our Chicago Bears partnership team to first drum up a “surprise”. Kaylah walked to her home from school a week before the trip to find Staley da Bear waiting for her. He decorated her home, brought gifts, and a special message that she would be heading to Green Bay for the Bears vs. Packers game. A few days later, the family was off on their big adventure. They received a send-off at Halas Hall with the entire team, a VIP experience with United Airlines, gifts in their hotel room, meet + greets with coaches and players, an autographed Justin Fields jersey, and sideline passes to the big game. Our PR + Social Media team flew out to capture content and extend across various channels.
Telling this story was easy! There are many moving pieces to create such an exclusive experience for our patients, and we could not do it without the help of our internal and external partners.

While these metrics speak volumes to how much people enjoy seeing the experiences we give, you can’t put a metric on “happiness”. Kaylah’s smile the entire weekend shows us how important our work is, and how much an adventure like this can make a difference in our patients and their families.
