Parker Strong: How the New England Patriots Became Super Heroes | TNF Presents

Entered in Social Good Campaign

Objectives

Thursday Night Football Presents goes across the country to NFL cities, telling the stories of dedicated and unique fans, and exploring what the game of football and their favorite teams mean to them.

Strategy and Execution

Parker Gerault is a seven-year-old kid from Texas who's obsessed with the New England Patriots and star tight end Rob Gronkowski. He's also fighting a rare tumor on his brain stem. He's been backed in his struggle by not just family and his community, but also by video messages and calls from several members of the Patriots.

Results

The support has been life-changing to the Gerault family, and the Patriots have continued their support for Parker. Following the arrival of a recent care package from Gronk himself, Parker felt inspired enough to make his first public appearance since his diagnosis at a community fundraiser held in his honor.

Promotional materials for Parker Strong raised awareness with a call to action on behalf of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (curethekids.org).
