Justin Peck

Finalist in Dance

About Justin Peck

“Justin Peck is making ballet that speaks to our daily lives,” says the New York Times about the 31 year old dancer and choreographer, combining traditional ballet with movements drawn from daily life and sounds from modern life, such as the revving of a lawn mower or a ballet with music from Sufjan Stevens. Already on the forefront of the dance world as New York City Ballet’s youngest resident choreographer, Justin further diversified his portfolio by winning Best Choreography at this year’s Tony Awards for Carousel. To a following of 60K+ on Instagram, Justin invites fans into his passions and performance life, celebrating the nerves, and most importantly, the hard work.
