About Adam Rippon

The Scranton-native gracefully slid into the hearts of the millions of people who tuned in for the 2018 Winter Olympics through his elegant figure skating and courage in standing up for the LGBTQ+ community. After helping America win in the team skating event, Adam became the first openly-gay athlete to win a medal at the Winter Olympics. A true breakout star, his popularity and one-of-a-kind attitude earned him an appearance on season 26 of Dancing with the Stars, nearly 900K Instagram and over 500K+ Twitter followers. Now retired from skating, Adam uses his platforms to give fans a look at his fun and fabulous life, in addition to supporting social justice causes.
