Last November, PETA hosted its ThanksVegan celebration at Kindred Spirits Care Farm in Los Angeles, bringing together influencers, celebrities, creators, and friends of PETA for an unforgettable evening of compassion and community. Guests enjoyed a festive vegan feast, connected with rescued animals, participated in interactive activities and photo moments, and created custom gift baskets filled with vegan cookbooks, jams, chocolate spreads, and other treats.
The event aimed to raise awareness for turkeys and other animals commonly eaten during Thanksgiving while encouraging kinder, more compassionate food choices. A key objective was to strengthen relationships with influencers and guests and to inspire them to amplify animal-friendly messaging across social media.
The event generated nearly 200 social media posts and welcomed close to 100 attendees, including influencers Tara Lynn, Mattie Westbrouck, and Raine Michaels. Combined coverage resulted in more than $159,000 in earned media value, further expanding the reach of PETA’s message of compassion for animals.
