Sam Lau serves as the Vice President for Communications at the Human Rights Campaign, leading the earned and digital communications teams for the country's largest LGBTQ+ civil rights organization. He previously worked at Planned Parenthood Federation of America as the Senior Director of Advocacy Communications, focusing on the response to attacks on reproductive rights at the federal, state and electoral levels. Sam is an alum of numerous statewide campaigns, political committees, and Congressional offices, including the 2018 Tony Evers gubernatorial campaign in Wisconsin, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC), and the House Budget Committee.
