Lisa is an award-winning Creative Director and Certified Diversity Executive® with over 20 years of experience leading creative innovation and cultural transformation in advertising. She founded New & Improved in 2018 to help agencies and brands embed inclusion into the workforce, the workplace, and the work. Since then, she has trained thousands of professionals and led teams through empathy-based, creative-led consulting, assessments, and immersive learning experiences.
Her initiatives include The PrACTice Program™, a brand-new behavior-based learning tool built by and for ad people, designed to meet this moment by helping teams build inclusive habits into how they think, work, and collaborate. Lisa also created the Advertising & Marketing Industry Guide to Age-Inclusion—an interactive resource developed in partnership with AARP to help teams recognize and interrupt age bias across the age spectrum in hiring, messaging, and workplace culture.
Her creative leadership includes roles at Ogilvy, Huge, and Digitas, with work recognized by Cannes Lions, The Clio Awards, The One Show, Effies, and more. Lisa has judged top creative competitions including the ANDYs, National Addy Awards, Next Creative Leaders, and others, and previously served as Director of SheSays ATL.
In addition to her consultancy work, Lisa taught and developed DEI programming at The Creative Circus and has contributed training and curriculum to The One Club Educator’s Summit.
