Daniel Tolentino is a Brazilian Art Director at AKQA Amsterdam, bringing over ten years of experience in advertising agencies across South America, Asia, and Europe, including DDB Brazil, VMLY&R Singapore, Publicis Singapore, and BBDO Germany. Daniel’s background spans art direction, design, and strategy contributing to global projects in communication, branding, digital products, and integrated campaigns for major brands like Heineken Group, Allianz, HSBC, Intel, and Meta. In 2024, The Drum ranked Daniel among the Top 100 World’s Most Awarded Art Directors List. His work has been featured in Shots, Luerzer’s Archive, LBB, Campaign, and Hypebeast, including a spot on Ad Age's 40 Best Ads of 2023 and The Drum's Top 50 Most Awarded Campaigns 2024 list. Different projects have been recognised at festivals like D&AD, Cannes, Clio, One Show, ADC, Spikes, NYF, Effies, and Webby, including two Grand Prix awards for the Pride Pass and The Glitch projects. In his spare time, Daniel mentors young creatives through different platforms such as ADPList, Miami Ad School, and 30 Minute University while casually diving into graphic design, writing, filmmaking, and photography.
