WWE’s key points of differentiation include access to over 250 Talent, live event and broadcast integrations, unmatched social media following with more than 1 billion followers, a second-to-none inhouse production team to capture and tell stories and so much more. These capabilities allow us to customize and execute in ways that traditional sports cannot and ultimately deliver more value and a higher ROI for our community partners and spread their mission to a global audience.
Looking to honor the local heroes that continuously answer the call day in and day out, WWE launched WWE’s Community Champions Showcase in 2021, an initiative that highlights local non-profit grassroots organizations who are driving meaningful change within their communities.
WWE’s Community Champions Showcase comes to life in alignment with WWE’s five biggest Premium Live Events, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble, Survivor Series and Money in the Bank, with deserving local organizations being recognized in each host city.
Leading up to each Premium Live Event, WWE hosts a caravan of local events where each honoree is awarded with financial grants and a custom WWE Championship title. Organizations also receive second-to-none in-kind social and digital media support across WWE’s global platforms, creating an unparalleled opportunity to amplify their mission. WWE Superstars, who have a passion to give back, along with local celebrities, further support the program by attending the Showcase events and using their powerful influence to promote the cause.
To date, this program has honored 35+ organizations including, Tampa Bay Sports Commission, PGA Reach, Three Square Food Bank and Jackie Joyner-Kersee Center, and donated nearly $250K.
