Objective

The goal was to create engaging digital content for business banking clients and prospects that supports Bank of America’s sponsorship of FIFA Club World Cup 2025, FIFA World Cup 2026, and other major corporate sponsorships such as the Chicago Marathon and The Masters at Augusta National. This content reinforces BofA’s local business banking expertise and highlights the Bank’s Center for Business Empowerment (CBE) as a business banking tool for clients, prospects, and Centers of Influence (COIs) alike.

 

Strategy

To highlight the economic impact of Bank of America’s corporate sponsorships, we created a multi-topic, multi-media landing experience that provides business banking relationship managers, clients and prospects the rationale and practical solutions to leverage the buzz and excitement surrounding mega events.

A key feature of the execution is the call-to-action that allows users to self-identify their business size, which funnels them directly to a relevant Bank of America business banking specialist. This multi-media approach ensures that relationship managers have a practical tool to start conversations with clients about the real-world economic benefits of these major events, bridging the gap between broad corporate sponsorships and local business growth.

Results

The project drove 175,000 page views, which accounted for 8% of total site views during the campaign period. The content proved to be highly engaging, with users spending an average time on page of 2.27 minutes.
