Simge Weinling-Dogrular was formerly Head of Marketing Activation at pladis, a leading global snack company that promises happiness to the world with every bite. She oversaw the development and execution of brand platforms and marketing campaigns, such as “This Flipz Everything” platform and “Flipz Up Your Gameday” campaign for Flipz, and “It’s Slow Good” platform for Turtles. In her previous role, Simge led Marketing and Innovation, where she doubled the Flipz brand and grew Turtles by 62%. Before that, she led Innovation, accelerating new product development and doubling innovation’s contribution to sales, following her leadership of Britain’s beloved Cookies & Crackers brands (McVitie’s, Carr’s, Jacob’s, and Crawford’s). Earlier in her career, she launched Godiva Masterpieces, which became Godiva’s largest, flagship product line. She transitioned to pladis after serving as Global Platform Manager for Godiva’s Self-Treat business worldwide. Simge built her foundation in brand management at Reckitt Benckiser, where she worked on leading health and hygiene brands including Lysol, Mucinex, and Cepacol. Recognized for her strategic leadership and passion for building brands, teams, and businesses, Simge is an alumna of The Marketing Academy US (Class of 2020). She graduated from the University of Virginia in 2008 and earned her MBA from NYU Stern School of Business in 2013. Originally from Turkey and raised in a multicultural family, Simge brings a global perspective and curiosity to her work. That curiosity influences her personal life as well, where she finds joy in exploring new cultures through food, travel, and different neighborhoods.
