Kristin Maverick is a seasoned social marketing lead with over 17 years of experience, spending time across both leading agencies and in-house brand teams. She currently serves as the Director of Social and Creator Marketing at Verizon, where she’s helping redefine what it means for a brand to show up in culture. She believes the best social work integrates clear insights, partners with emerging talent and brings to life authentic stories in a simple way that the consumers just “get.” Known for being a first mover on new digital platforms and technologies, she’s led social and digital strategy for some of the world’s most beloved brands - launching Gen Z powerhouse Sour Patch Kids on TikTok, fueling OREO’s social presence for 5+ years, and helping to fuel Bravo TV’s social presence as a leader in the entertainment space. Additional clients include: Walmart, Burger King, 7-11 & Apple TV+. Kristin’s career also includes leadership roles at Dentsu Creative, 360i, and more. She’s been recognized as one of Business Insider’s Rising Stars of Madison Avenue, one of the 30 Most Creative People in Social Media Marketing and was named in Ad Age's Women to Watch list. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island. Kristin lives in New Jersey with her husband Mike and their 4-year-old son, Nathan.
