Drew Mitchell is a brand strategist and social impact leader with over a decade of experience helping companies build trust, shape culture, and spark meaningful change. He currently serves as Senior Vice President in Edelman’s Brand Purpose practice and U.S. Lead of the Gen Z Lab, where he helps brands define what they stand for and how to act on it — through strategy, storytelling, and partnerships. Drew has led purpose and community engagement efforts for some of the world’s most recognized brands, including Vaseline, Dove Men+Care, SC Johnson, and Southwest Airlines. He previously worked at CAA, guiding clients like McDonald’s, UBS, and the American Red Cross on impact campaigns and cultural partnerships. Based in New York and originally from Kentucky, Drew writes frequently on the role of brands in driving equity, sustainability, and earned relevance.
