Born and raised in Detroit, Steve’s story begins where grit meets creativity. Over the past 20 years, he’s become an award-winning creative at Doner, VML, Leo Burnett, and now .Monks, where he serves as Executive Creative Director for North America, leading the creative across the GM account. Early in his career, Steve created two Super Bowl spots for Chevy and Buick, then helped build GMC’s social presence and re-invented Cadillac’s brand from the ground up; crafting innovative content systems, defining brand voices, and developing dynamic creative that moved the industry forward. Today at .Monks, Steve fuses big-idea storytelling with social, design, experiential, and AI innovation. A true product of Detroit, he leads by example. Steve mentors rising creatives and photographers at PhotoPolitic and still stays hands-on behind the camera. His relentless curiosity keeps him grounded, inventive, and always in motion.
