Michelle Underwood is an award-winning Group Creative Director who started her career at Havas 17 years ago and came back in 2019 to lead creative on the Citibank and American Airlines business. Michelle loves making breakthrough work in unexpected categories and making headlines like “Social Media Campaign of the Year” and “Ad of the Day”. Her brand leadership experience includes Wayfair, National Association of REALTORS, AT&T, ASICS, Nissan, Johnson & Johnson, and many more. Some of her favorite projects including relaunching the iconic Shake ’N Bake brand and creating content for the Nissan + Star Wars partnership. She was selected as one of 50 U.S. Ambassadors to One Young World, the first worldwide summit for millennials. Now she’s an elder millennial with a kiddo of her own at home. Michelle finds creative inspiration in the Chicago storefront theatre scene. She ran a non-profit theatre company for four years in her off time and enjoys combining her creative and tech passions as a projection designer. Favorite project: KILL SHAKESPEARE, a graphic novel brought to life onstage with an immersive projections experience which was featured at the Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo.
