Anthony Cain dedicates his career to finding innovative ways to engage audiences and nurture fandoms – both in real life and across digital platforms. Driven by an unwavering passion for learning, he’s worked across consumer categories including tech, entertainment, beauty, CPG, and now gaming. Anthony is particularly passionate about leveraging AI, Web3 and the latest consumer behavior trends to help brands meaningfully connect with their audiences. His collaborations produce measurable business results, fuel brand growth and future-proof marketing strategies. As a co-head of Liquid Media – a full-service creative marketing agency specializing in gaming and esports – Anthony directs the agency’s growth and oversees all integrated strategy initiatives to help brands effectively engage global gaming and esports audiences. With 18 years of experience, his work is known for delivering measurable outcomes, expanding brand presence and fostering deeper consumer engagement with Millennials, Gen Z, and beyond. Anthony has partnered with top-tier brands such as Samsung, Netflix, Riot Games, Amazon, L'Oréal, and Intel. And across those relationships, he’s developed and applied expertise in integrated marketing, social media, influencer marketing, experiential, paid media and more. Before joining Liquid Media, he held digital strategy roles at HBO Max, TIDAL, the Oprah Winfrey Network, and at global agencies Edelman and Ogilvy. His team efforts have earned recognition from the Shorty Awards, which celebrate innovation and creativity in digital and social media. Accolades included: “Peacemaker: Tweeting All Things Peace” plus a related Twitter Partnership; Community Management efforts for Zack Snyder’s Justice League; and a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Shorty Impact Awards for It’s A Sin. Anthony’s expertise on social media, pop culture and fandoms has been included in articles by Mashable and the New York Times. A passionate advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community, Anthony is committed to creating inclusive environments both in the workplace and beyond. He also deeply values his Samoan heritage, believing that cultural understanding and intersectional perspective fuel innovation. Since a young age, Anthony has volunteered with organizations aiding Samoan communities in the U.S. and Samoa, and he mentors Samoan college graduates entering the workforce. A Proud University of Oregon Duck now based in Los Angeles, he enjoys tennis, advanced LEGO builds, and gaming – bringing the same competitive spirit and relentless curiosity to both his personal and professional life.
