Katie Soo is an award-winning global media and technology leader with a proven track record for leading transformations, breaking trends, forging new technology partnerships, and launching large-scale, disruptive business models and brands. Soo is the former Chief Operating Officer at DICE, and drove forward DICE’s strategic growth and marketing, enabling their recent acquisition by Fever in June 2025. Katie has held leadership roles at some of the most recognized, celebrated and disruptive brands in media, entertainment and tech globally. Katie served as Chief Marketing Officer at KiwiCo, an education and STEM learning company, and prior to that, Katie was Senior Vice President of Growth and Marketing at HBO Max, overseeing growth, marketing, partnerships, and in-app editorial across brand, originals, and performance media. Katie has also held executive roles at Warner Bros. Digital Networks, DC Universe, hulu, and was early Dollar Shave Club. Soo serves as both as an advisor and mentor to CEOs and founders. She has received accolades from Ad Age, Adweek, Promax, Webbys, Digiday and the Shorty Awards for her work in both creative storytelling and digital products. She has been recognized on Ad Age’s “40 Under 40,” Business Insider’s CMOs to Watch, Media Play’s 40 Under 40, and was also named on Goldhouse’s A100 list honoring the most impactful Asians in culture. She is a member of Committee 100, Board Chair of Asia Society Southern California, and Trustee on the Asia Society's Global Board and also sits on the Advisory Board for California State University Entertainment Alliance. When she isn’t working, Soo enjoys spending time with her family and writing children’s books. Her most recent book, The Kitten and Her Mitten, is now available online.
