Humanitarian response: Ukraine
On February 24th 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine. Reports declared it the largest conventional warfare operation in Europe since WW II. International humanitarian aid began immediately to assist refugees pouring into neighboring countries. Global Outreach Doctors (GoDocs), are on the frontlines now.
DocuFilms, along with journalist Jordan Campbell brought to life the story of GoDocs medical volunteers helping their Ukrainian brothers and sisters.
We wanted to show the scope of GoDocs work around the globe, and specifically thier current mission in Ukraine. DocuFilms sent journalist Jordan Campbell to the frontlines to portray the Global Outreach Doctors logistical excellence and the great sense of humanity that drives them.
Awareness of Global Outreach Doctors has risen around the world. After seeing the GoDocs film a theater chain was so moved by the message of assiting Ukraine in its hour of need it agreed to play the film in all their screens prior to feature presentations. GoDocs have captured the attention of major global funders and has incorporated it into their recruitment efforts.
