With the launch of the Disney+ YouTube channel, the first year of What’s Up, Disney+ was produced fully remote. Hosts Andre Meadows and Jenny Lorenzo zoomed into junkets and interviews with cast and creators from their individual home sets, interacting with Disney+ talent in a whole new way, and bringing personal and engaging conversations to the viewers. The show explored different creative and engaging ways of storytelling through visual effects and sketches.
For the two-year anniversary of Disney+, a.k.a. Disney+ Day, Jenny and Andre celebrated all of the movies and series that released over that time span with an original song and dance that culminated in their arrival onto their brand new, in-person set. The musical recap was beloved by the audience!
