Financial stress is one of the most isolating pressures Australians are facing today. People carry mortgage debt, credit-card shame and money stress in private, rarely hearing how other families like their are able to turn things around and relieve themselves of the stress of financial uncertainty. Traditional financial education makes this worse through jargon, and hypotheticals, leavingh everyday people feeling excluded and confused.
The Money Mentor Podcast "Changing Lives" series set out to rectify that. Our objective was to make practical financial education genuinely accessibe by presenting how ordinary Australian's lives have been impacted by learning how to budget, save and invest. We wanted every listener to see a version of their own situation on screen, believe change is possible and see how to take tthe first steps to a mortgage free future.
Our goals were to:
The Money MentorPodcast series "Changing Lives" flips the script on financial educatoin, taking it from jargon and expert monologues to an accessible format, taught through the lived experience of real Australians and their families. The flagship long-form format that built the brand; hosted by Graeme Holm and Rachael Howlett, has provided a transformative voice in the financial sector. Each 60-plus-minute episode sits a real Infinity Group Coaching xclient down to talk openly about the debt, shame and doubt that has pften clouded their finances, and the coaching and educational journey with Infinity that turned it around. There are no influencers or hypothetical scenarios here. Every guest shares exactly what they have earned, spent, owed and changed. As the team puts it, "Theses aren't success stories. They are proof."
The craft is in the interviewing. Rachael and Graeme draw out candid, specific detai without judgement, making the clients comfortable enough to reveal the real figures and go on the record with their financial journey, changing the way conversations about money are portrayed. Each episode follows a deliberate arc. Life before Infinity, the turning point, the strategy and mindset shifts, and where the family is now. The data is real and the emotions are never manufactured.
Distribution was built for reach and trust. Rather than one channel, we publish across four brand identities; Infinity Group, Money Mentor, Graeme Holm and Rachael Howlett, and four platforms - Spotify, Youtube, Instagram and Facebook. This means our audience can watch or listen wherever they already are, and meet the message through whichever voice they identify with. Long-form episodes are cut into shareable social clips that carry the emotional turnng poibnt and the concrete results, widening the reach beyond our existing client base.
The hardest challenge has been persuading ordinary people to talk publically about something which is usally so private - money. The trust0building and non-judgemental srtyle we use to approach these conversations and the consistent support of our entire client base, new and old, has sustained the roll call of these guests. Sustaining broadcast-quality output at this cadence also stretched our production team: in November alone the team recorded 44 episodes (22 <Money Mentor episodes plus 22 bonus client and staff sessions) and, with a team of just two internal and three external editors, delivered dozens of social reels to promote the mamouth amount of content. We built remote-recording and content systems so flagship storytelling and rapid social output could run side by side without compromising quality.
"Changing Lives" has turned private money struggles into public proof that real change is possible, and in doing so, has built one of Australia's largest financial-education audiences.
Across the Money Mentor and Infinity brands, the podcast and its social content reached 30.1 million views and 5.8 million people, with a combined audience of 614,622 followers and engagment numbers of 29.6k. The Money mentor brand alone accounts for 28.8 million views, 5.5 million reach and 504,646 followers. On the podcast platforms specifically, the show has 37,788 Spotify followers (around 4,000 listens per episode) and 17,292 YouTube subscribers (around 2,500 listens per episode).
Beyond the numbers, the impact is measured one household at a time. Every episode is anchored to a real, verifiable outcome: the lead episode documents a family who paid off their home loan in six months; others show debt restructred and families building their fist genuine savings buffer. These are Infinity Group Coaching client namin real figures on the record, sharing the clearest possible evidence that financial education works.
The format resonates far beyond our client base. Shareable clips consistently extend reach into new audiences, the series now sustains three episodes a week across seven formats, and demand for client stories outstrips filming capacity. Most importantly, "Changing Lives" is changing the conversation. It gives everyday Australians permission to talk honestly about money, and acredible, free roadmap to take control of their finances.
