The core idea driving our work is that golf can be a powerful catalyst for global change. Through LIV For Good, our impact and sustainability platform, we integrate the game's core values—resiliency, humility, integrity, and connection—to drive purpose-led growth far beyond the course.
Our ultimate vision is a world united by golf. To realize this, we established clear, ambitious milestones, starting with our long-term goals to impact five million youth by 2032 and achieve net-zero status by 2040. Having already positively impacted over one million people since the League's inception, we set specific 2026 objectives across three interconnected pillars:
Game: Introduce 15,000 youth globally to the game for the first time across 14 events, 10 countries, and 5 continents by intentionally removing historical barriers to entry and partnering with national federations, event partners, and non-profits.
Community: Strengthen communities using the power and values of golf, targeting over 400,000 youth through robust, curriculum-based educational programs and global refugee protection initiatives.
Planet: Deliver the world's most sustainable golf events. We lead the industry by maintaining ISO accreditation and earning 13 GEO Certifications for our global events. Operationally, we aim to achieve up to 100% landfill diversion at select events while expanding circular supply chains that directly benefit our host communities.
We brought LIV For Good to life by baking the core values of golf into our daily operating structure. Our plan of action consolidated our commitment to impact five million youth by 2032 and achieve net-zero status by 2040. To date, we’ve impacted impact one million youth lives through our golf initiatives and educational programming around golf values. We’re executing on our long-term vision through initiatives across our three core pillars:
Game: To hit our 2026 target of introducing 15,000 youth globally to the sport, we engage with our global partners like HSBC and ROSHN Group and local non-profits to implementgolf programming for youth local to each of our host venues. We also empower our 13 teams to lead grassroots initiatives—such as Little Sticks by Majesticks GC and the Southern Guards GC Academy. deliver targeted talent development programs in their home markets. All of which breaks down barriers to entry and increases access to golf worldwide.
Community: To reach our goal of impacting 400,000 youth through education in 2026, we partner with Discovery Education to deliver curriculum-based STEM learning as well as HSBC to deliver financial literacy programming. Locally, we partner with organizations at our events to ensure we leave a lasting legacy in our host cities.
Planet: We lead the golf industry in sustainability, maintaining ISO accreditation and earning 13 GEO Certifications to date. Operationally, we achieve up to 100% landfill diversion at several events while establishing circular supply chains that limits our carbon footprint on host communities. Our execution focuses on renewable energy, rigorous waste diversion, and recycled materials to maintain best-in-class standards across events.
Our Impact and Sustainability efforts are a resounding success because we proved our purpose-led model works on a global scale, already positively impacting over one million people. We successfully met our team’s overarching objectives by turning ambitious targets into tangible outcomes across our three pillars:
Game: We met our objective to break down historical barriers to entry, staying firmly on track to surpass our goal of 15,000 first-time players. Success is evidenced by our grassroots reach: MyGolf engaged 40,000 Australian children, ROSHN Rising Stars provided Saudi youth with elite mentorship, and Majesticks GC’s Little Sticks brought accessible golf to under-resourced communities.
Community: We succeeded in using golf values to help communities thrive, achieving deep social impact at scale. We met our education targets as Discovery Education reached 280,000+ youth globally with a digital STEM curriculum. Furthermore, our UNHCR partnership impacted 400,000 lives by providing safe spaces for refugees, while Fútbol Más delivered 50+ localized interventions teaching employability to vulnerable youth.
Planet: We met our objective of delivering the world's most sustainable events. We consider this a success because we solidified our industry leadership—maintaining ISO accreditation and earning 13 GEO Certifications. Highlighting this success, our Australia event was 100% powered by HVO—making it the most sustainable event in the country—while also driving significant wider economic impact for the region. Additionally, we achieved up to 100% landfill diversion at select events and established community-benefiting circular supply chains.
