Women's sports is having a cultural moment. But that moment did not happen by accident. It was built by athletes, advocates, and creators who refused to accept the status quo.
Jenna Bandy is one of those builders: a professional basketball player, multi-sport content creator, and founder of Game ChangeHER, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to equity, representation, and access in women's sports.
Jenna's creator strategy and nonprofit platform have been structured to match the scale of her ambition, using sport as a vehicle for community advocacy and cultural change.
The objectives were to:
To turn Jenna's platform into a force multiplier for the women's sports equity movement, we connected community, capital, and culture in one coherent mission.
The strategy for Jenna and Game ChangeHER was built on a core belief: the most powerful sports advocacy is the kind that shows, not just tells.
Every piece of content, every partnership, and every event was designed to make the case for women's sports not through argument but through undeniable demonstration.
Content & Creator Strategy: Jenna's multi-sport background (basketball, golf, football and beyond) gave her a unique ability to reach across sports communities in a way few creators can. This was developed into a cross-sport content strategy that kept her basketball identity central while expanding her cultural reach into broader sports and lifestyle audiences. The creative throughline was always equity and access: who gets to play, who gets to be seen, and who gets to be celebrated.
Game ChangeHER Nonprofit Activation: Jenna worked to bring the Game ChangeHER nonprofit's positioning as close to her as possible through sponsorship development and flagship event production. The inaugural Flowers for HER event brought together athletes, creators, sponsors, and community members for an evening that honored women in sport through a live experience and short film screening, setting a new standard for how nonprofit sports advocacy can show up in culture.
Brand Partnerships: Every brand deal negotiated for Jenna was evaluated through a dual lens: commercial value and mission alignment. We prioritized partners who could see Jenna's audience - and women's sports broadly - as an investment rather than a favor. Each integration was designed to feel native to her content while explicitly supporting Game ChangeHER's programming.
Challenges: The most persistent challenge in women's sports advocacy work is budget, both for the nonprofit and for production. We helped Jenna and Game ChangeHER build a tiered sponsorship model, develop compelling pitch materials, and approach brands as strategic partners rather than philanthropic donors. Framing investment in women's sports as ROI-positive was central to every conversation.
Cultural Impact: Jenna's work - and the Game ChangeHER platform - is part of a larger cultural shift. A movement that is actively reshaping what is possible for women and girls in sport.
Jenna’s managed to pivot her career and transform her life and that of girls and women in sports for the better.
Initially she had ambitions of becoming a professional athlete. She was on track, playing Division II college basketball before that was cut short due to injuries. She then coached a girls' varsity basketball team. Until Covid came along which made her take content creation seriously.
She shared her passions for all sports including golf, being among the early female golfers on TikTok, helping to grow over one million followers.
She broke records like the farthest American football thrown into a target by a female and a Guinness World Record for the farthest behind-the-back basketball shot.
She was a two-time $100,000 House of Highlights challenge winner.
It turns out she really did became a pro sports athlete, by other means.
But her proudest achievement by far has been launching Game ChangeHER as an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2026, with a board of directors and three core programs reaching and changing what girls believe about themselves.
