What used to be a niche format, the web series is steadily becoming the new normal, with some gaining more viewers than most episodes on network TV. Whether they’re YouTube videos, Vine compilations, or streams on any number of sites, these nominees are reinventing how (and what) we watch, while connecting with fans on a whole new level.

The Shorty Award for Web Series is presented by Watchable, the video streaming platform that brings the web’s best shows and networks to every device.
