Looking for Heroes made a splash on Instagram in 2015 when Instagram recommended this happy feed, bumping up their followers from the hundreds to the tens of thousands. Alex Pawlowska’s Looking For Heroes tracks down and photographs Londoners in their natural habitats (normally against a fun, graffitied wall) and tells their stories, positive tales of activism, art against all odds, and quirky generation-spanning inspirational, motivational snippets of wisdom from those who don’t normally get a platform to spread the love. They’ve since expanded their Instagrams into YouTube videos with a series called Everyday People.
