How do you use Twitter in your professional life?
I learn about new articles and ideas. I get a head's up on what's happening from Sudan to Burma. And, I confess, I self-promote. :)
140 characters of advice for a new user?
Tell us something we don't know but should. And never tell us what you've had for breakfast. Unless it's worms. And they're delicious.
How do you imagine Twitter changing?
Twitter will be the 1st rough draft of history. And it'll increasingly challenge governments in China & other authoritarian countries.
What is one of the biggest misconceptions of Twitter?
The big misconception is that Twitter is for TELLING OTHERS what you're lunching on. The truth is, Twitter is for LISTENING & learning.
What do you wish people would do more of on Twitter?
I'd like to see more listening and civility. And less #@$ SHOUTING!!!!
