How do you use Twitter in your professional life?
Well it allows me to tweet the latest weather warnings and watches and get the information out fast. Time is of the essence in weather!

Twitter. It allows quick and easy communication with an audience. Facebook is better for my weather blogs with long explanations, etc.

What feature should Twitter add?
I would love to see some foursquare integration in Twitter. It would keep me all on one app instead of two separate ones.
Who do you wish had a Twitter feed but doesn't?
My parents. When I go away to college, I would love to tweet them instead of call. So much easier...plus it's 140 characters. ;)
What are some words or phrases you refuse to shorten for brevity?
TV News makes you become an avid hater of any words or phrases that are shortened. But if I had to pick it would be Okay to K. Hah

How do you make your tweets unique?
I make them revolve around certain people or events that others can easily relate too. Generates more RT and @ replies!
What inspires you to tweet?
Knowing someone, somewhere, out in this big world, is getting my tweets and can laugh, learn, or live better.
Ever get called out for tweeting too much?
I haven't on a normal basis, but i'm sure people want to during a big weather story like a hurricane or tornado outbreak. #IGoCrazy

Follow to be followed. Tweet interesting stuff. Post photos. @reply people to start a conversation. It's a two way street on twitter!

How do you imagine Twitter changing?
It's growing exponentially and I believe Twitter will change to meet the needs of more users at once. Hopefully they keep the same layout!

@BuckHollywood ; The way he interacts with his followers shows me he really understands social media and it's effect on today's world

What is one of the biggest misconceptions of Twitter?
It's for telling people what you do this second. Not really, it's a much easier way to interact with your viewers and followers!
Why should people follow you?
I don't think I'm funny but others do. I love to hold conversations with others even if I don't know them. I'm interactive and informative

I follow NoradSanta. After all, on Christmas Eve I want to know where Santa Claus is so I can be in bed in time!
How do you decide what to tweet?
I look at the trend on twitter. Do people need to laugh their problems away or is a more philosophical tweet necessary.
How do you use social media to motivate yourself or others to live a healthier life?
I try to provide ideas as to what to do on a good sunny day. One could walk the dog, or rake leaves. Get work done, and get some exercise!
How has social media helped bring your family closer together and #keepgoodgoing?
I get to communicate with family and friends I don't get to talk to that often. It bridges the gap left by distance.
Why'd you start tweeting?
Twitter was BRAND NEW when I started. I wanted to jump on before everyone else. I only knew like 2 others on the site haha.
Has Twitter changed your life? If yes, how?
Of course. After moving to FL, Twitter makes it easy for me to maintain relationships with my friends back in VA. It's like I'm still there.
What do you wish people would do more of on Twitter?
Follow people. Twitter is a two way street; to really interact with your audience you have to follow them and they must follow you! Simple
How will the world change in the next year?
2012 will have plenty of severe weather, a new President, and countless news stories on cats in small hats.
What are some big Twitter faux pas?
Don't hashtag every word. You only need one or two per tweet. And only @ reply someone if you are looking for a response!
What will the world be like 10 years from now?
A social media haven. It's why I am so excited I am the first generation to live in social media..."The Internet Killed The Video Star"
