What inspires you to tweet?

I tweet in order to spread the wonder of science to the world communty, especially students. It is my goal to reignite the thirst for space.

What is one of the biggest misconceptions of Twitter?

That it is only for celebrities and politicians.

How do you imagine Twitter changing?

I can see twitter intertwining itself more and more with up and coming social networks. I see more multimedia and socially relevant topics.

I am a full time Air Traffic Controller in Atlanta, GA. I started a small solar astronomy outreach program in 2008 named after my friend Charlie Bates who had committed suicide. In 4 years it has grown to be the largest volume astronomy outreach program in the world. I support over 30 different outreach programs in 13 countries exclusively through the connectivity of social media outlets like facebook and twitter. I have postedover 3000 videos and 10's of thousands of images from my events
