each dog that i tweet about is unique! it's all about sharing each dog's story with the world, even dogs who've gone over the rainbow bridge.
What inspires you to tweet?
being able to help advocate for the good of dogs through a creative photography project and building/fostering community

...be patient! twitter success takes time and persistence but most importantly a consistent voice and tweeting with heart!

i am a big fan of @andrewzimmern. he is a fascinating person and he connects people through food, which is a true work of social art.

i laugh alot reading the rivalry between @bravotv's @realgingerzarin (RHONY) and @giggythepom (RHOBH) and all of the dogs who blog
What is one of the biggest misconceptions of Twitter?
that it "doesn't work", it does. we've done everything using twitter, rec'd > 2k dog submissions, grew from 0-10.5k followers in 6.5 mos!
Why should people follow you?
bc we share awesome stories of real dogs across the country - it's all about community and helping us reach our goal of finding 350+ dogs!

many factors involved... listening, responding, offering info. depends on current trends!
Why'd you start tweeting?
started long ago to promote my businesses @nuena and @scutte. now for @projectdog to find dogs 4 my book and grow a community of dog lovers!

YES! it's introduced me to wonderful people and .orgs who help animals, and bc of twitter, has brought life to @projectdog.

share positive news not bad
How will the world change in the next year?
Keeping my paws crossed that people become enlightened with a new sense of respect for animals :-)

duplicate tweets seconds apart, AN ENTIRE TWEET IN ALL CAPS, loooooooonnng URLs....
What will the world be like 10 years from now?
i hope that people learn to respect animals and each other more...
