The London Book Fair tweet-up, organised by the wonderful @jonreed, where I've met industry tweeps I've been talking to for ages.

That it's for direct selling. Don't do it, tweeps. Not funny, not clever & the biggest of Twitter turn-offs.
Why should people follow you?
Because I'm mad, bad & dangerous, (with a side order of sensitive & caring heart). Also, I read omnivorously & know all about hot Greek gods.

Why'd you start tweeting?
Because I'm an uber-cool and happenin' #kidlit author who understands social media? Er, I fell into it by mistake, like everyone else does.

Well, not exactly...but it has opened up a whole new world of global communication with nice bookish tweeps.
What do you wish people would do more of on Twitter?
Drink. There's not enough drinking on Twitter, imho.
How will the world change in the next year?
It will be eaten by a giant e-book.
