What's your best tweet?
Have no idea - Something to do with my blog or writing probably.
What are six things you could never do without?
My Watch, my Engagement Ring, my Mobile and Computer access from somewhere!
How do you use Twitter in your professional life?
I retweet as many book adverts as I can that I think are interesting. I respond to readers (not many of them) and I keep in touch.
What's your favorite Twitter app?
Don't have one.
Twitter or Facebook?
Hmm - both are useful, but Facebook is more fun for me.
What was the funniest trend you've seen?
Haven't seen any that made me laugh yet.
What feature should Twitter add?
Smilies - sometimes emotions are difficult to show in a tweet.
Who do you wish had a Twitter feed but doesn't?
The Earth. It would be good to know what the planet is thinking.
What are some words or phrases you refuse to shorten for brevity?
I don't shorten anything. I love the English language too much.
Is there someone you want to follow you who doesn't already? If so, who?
Neil Gaimen - he's a hero of mine. I love his stories and his attitude towards writing.
Have you ever unfollowed someone? Who and why?
Not yet.
Why should we vote for you?
I am too modest to put myself out there much! It's hard for me to see that my work is liked and I'd like to know if anyone reads my blog or !
Terms you wish would start trending on Twitter right now?
Not sure... I'll get back to you on that!
What's the most interesting connection you've made through Twitter?
CrystalJigsaw. She's funny!
Hashtag you created that you wish everyone used?
I haven't really created many yet.
How do you make your tweets unique?
I keep them friendly and interesting!
What inspires you to tweet?
Everything - but mostly my writing and things that I have read. If I see something interesting in my feed, I'll respond to it.
Ever get called out for tweeting too much?
Never. I don't tweet enough.
140 characters of advice for a new user?
Remember to listen to people as well as talking - there's no point in bombarding everyone with what you are doing unless you actually respond
How long can you go without a tweet?
Ages - this is something I need to fix...
What question are we not asking here that we should?
Why Tweet the person across the room when you can get up, walk over and talk to them?
How do you imagine Twitter changing?
I think it's going to get more crowded and be used a lot in sharing the goings on of the world.
Who do you admire most for his or her use of Twitter?
My friend and Editor, Diane Nelson. She uses it perfectly!
Who is the funniest person on Twitter that you follow?
Exmoorjane - she has such a wonderful view of life and humourous way of writing about the most mundane subjects
What is one of the biggest misconceptions of Twitter?
That its all about gossiping or advertising.
Why should people follow you?
I know a lot of interesting people. And I write good fiction in both Horror and Fantasy for different age ranges. And I like making friends.
Can you name some one-of-a-kind Twitter accounts that you follow?
ExemoorJane, Banana_the_poet, Raven Dane and Sessha Batto
How do you decide what to tweet?
I tweet whatever pops into my head - unless it's to do with #WTW, writing or my blogs.
Why'd you start tweeting?
I'm an author, it's part of my way to contact what few readers I have. Then it became a way of keeping in touch with my friends.
Has Twitter changed your life? If yes, how?
Not yet - I'm still waiting for that to happen!
What do you wish people would do more of on Twitter?
Read before responding. Twitter is a conversation.
How will the world change in the next year?
Life will be no less difficult, but more positive because of the difficulty
What are some big Twitter faux pas?
Ignoring someone asking a question - celebs seem to do it a lot.
What will the world be like 10 years from now?
A lot more technological - but the technology will be an awful lot smaller!
