How do you use Twitter in your professional life?
Twitter has become a huge part of my professional life. It's how I connect +network (+gossip) with travelling women around the world.

Twitter! What a great new communication tool to discover at 70.
What feature should Twitter add?
Another feature to learn? I get along fine with the Twitter tools I have right now.
Who do you wish had a Twitter feed but doesn't?
My mom (who is in heaven). Honestly. How cool it would be to read her hashtags like #cloud9 #heavenly #dontwishyouwerehere #godscountry, etc.

Have you ever unfollowed someone? Who and why?
What bothers me most are 'tweet to tweet' marketers. Try to sell me something via twitter and you are ... GONE.

What's the most interesting connection you've made through Twitter?
Was recently the embedded 'Tweeter' on a 3-week cruise in C. America and as a result was asked to interview Desmond Tutu who was onboard.

What inspires you to tweet?
I'm called the Grandmother of Women's Travel. Since 1994 my mandate has been to inspire women to travel safely and well.

Give, give, give, give, give, give, give, give, give, give, give, give what you know best. Stay true to your message + stay true to yourself.
How long can you go without a tweet?
I can go about six hours. I usually get up in the middle of the night to answer any DMs that come in from women around the world.

When did TIME Magazine choose you as one of this century's innovative thinkers? Answer: In 2000. REALLY. (sorry, I couldn't resist;-)
Who do you admire most for his or her use of Twitter?
The person I admire most is my daughter @yummymummyclub (EricaEhm) who has built an incredible community of moms via Twitter.
Who is the funniest person on Twitter that you follow?
The person who never fails to make me laugh, snort, guffaw and cackle is @sharonDV (Sharon Devellis). And no ... she's not related to me.
Why should people follow you?
Hmmm... I warn everybody NOT to follow me because I will give them incurable wanderlust and definitely lead them astray.
Can you name some one-of-a-kind Twitter accounts that you follow?
I found her by accident and now I'm addicted to the life and loves of @littleanimation , a truly unique animation artist+personality.
How do you decide what to tweet?
I never agonize about what to say. Twitter moves so quickly so ... I think. I tweet. Done.
Why'd you start tweeting?
Heard my daughters talking abt it so thought I'd try+see what it was like. Spent 1 month watching+learning from the pros. By then was hooked!
Has Twitter changed your life? If yes, how?
Of course it has. I follow both my daughters on Twitter. Now I never have to nag for details of their lives. I just read their tweets+learn.
What are some big Twitter faux pas?
That people really are interested in what you're having for breakfast.
What will the world be like 10 years from now?
I can only hope it will be a better place.
