What's your best tweet?
What are six things you could never do without?
Mexican food, farmers, teachers, activists, Mexican food, musicians and Mexican food.
What's your favorite Twitter app?
I used to love Echofon but, honestly, I have been cheating on them lately. The new official Twitter app is darn good. Timely.is is nice too.
Twitter or Facebook?
Both. And everything else too. The more ways I connect with people the better.
Who do you wish had a Twitter feed but doesn't?
Ted Danson! Huge fan of his ocean advocacy. Very dedicated and he's a real changemaker. Plus I love Cheers, tweets from Sam Malone #FTW
Is there someone you want to follow you who doesn't already? If so, who?
Leonardo DiCaprio. He used to follow me, and then he just stopped--no phone call or reason why. I can't quit you, Leo! Breaking up sucks.
Have you ever unfollowed someone? Who and why?
What's the most interesting connection you've made through Twitter?
I have my very first book deal and it is all thanks to Twitter
How long can you go without a tweet?
I can usually make it a few hours before I get outwardly violent.
What is one of the biggest misconceptions of Twitter?

Can you name some one-of-a-kind Twitter accounts that you follow?
How do you decide what to tweet?
I tweet information, links and photos that I feel add value to Twitter and my followers.
Why'd you start tweeting?
To connect with people, share ideas and make a difference. You know, all of that "We Are the World" stuff plus I guess I'm narcissist, too.
Has Twitter changed your life? If yes, how?
Hell yes. Most every connection I make in my job is over Twitter. It has 100% changed how I do business as a journalist.
What are some big Twitter faux pas?
Talking about yourself more than what's actually happening.
