How do you use Twitter in your professional life?
I use twitter to promote my blog Enlightened Ferret and to help dissolve misconceptions about ferrets.

it's a toss up between tweetchat and bit.ly

Twitter.
What was the funniest trend you've seen?
haven't seen a funny trend but I've seen a stupid one which was #quackquackquack.
What feature should Twitter add?
an easier way to update profile pictures.
Who do you wish had a Twitter feed but doesn't?
I am not sure that there are that many out there that don't have a twitter feed or won't soon have one.
What are some words or phrases you refuse to shorten for brevity?
Ferrets is pretty much the only one

The only one would be Walter Cronkite but since he has passed it will never happen
Have you ever unfollowed someone? Who and why?
Yes I have unfollowed people when they show no tolernce to others and if they haven't tweeted for over a year without a reason.
Why should we vote for you?
Ferrets are largely misunderstood and there are a lot of misconceptions out there. I try to help people understand why I love these furry little guys as much as one loves his/her cat/dog. I provide information that might not otherwise be known.

the anipals that come together for a common cause and those that care about animals who brought it off twitter and into pet conferences.

I change the s 2 z @ the end of words to show I am tweeting as Manny/Marcuz. But Marcuz' name really is spelled with a z.
What inspires you to tweet?
Lot of reasons, issues, events, opinons

No I don't think I have.

b urself realize that this is an open forum n not every1 thinks a like. B tolerant of those not sharing ur views. Follow those u like
How long can you go without a tweet?
I've gone longer than eight hours but I find that I am trying to tweet in my head when I am away from twitter.

How do you imagine Twitter changing?
I see twitter being a new way of connecting with brands, people, and social issues that might never have been recognized otherwise. By being able to see the impact of a local brand, person, or issue those on twitter are able to help spread the word and sometimes offer a helping hand.

when I see something that moves me or when I have a new blogpost.
Why'd you start tweeting?
Originally for entering contests but that has changed into promoting good animal care and responsiable ferret ownership.

Yes twitter opened up a completely new world by allowing me to connect with people around the world who are interested in all kinds of pets
What do you wish people would do more of on Twitter?
I don't think they can do more on Twitter except more of the same.
How will the world change in the next year?
More people will help out others they have never met.
What are some big Twitter faux pas?
Trying to push your point of view. We are all different and should have some sort of tolerance for others.
What will the world be like 10 years from now?
If the world is still here I can only hope we have found a balance between all of us.
