How do you use Twitter in your professional life?
I link to things I write on my website, which is about my scientific discovery, my personal life and my life as a teacher as well.
What's your favorite Twitter app?
Twitter for my iPhone. What can I say, I'm kind of addicted.
Twitter or Facebook?
Twitter. I strongly dislike all the useless stuff on Facebook and don't want to try and keep up with it. But I do love Twitter.
What was the funniest trend you've seen?
#OfNaarNickEnSimon Especially since English friends participated without knowing what it meant. Trust me, it's funny.
What feature should Twitter add?
The option to spell-check. And nothing else. I love you just the way you are.
Who do you wish had a Twitter feed but doesn't?
Lots of my Dutch friends I suppose.
What are some words or phrases you refuse to shorten for brevity?
Have you ever unfollowed someone? Who and why?
Yes; followed someone interesting, but they said so much I couldn't keep up. Now I just regularly check their profile. Told them also.

Well, my discovery is unique (and so am I :p) so my tweets are by definition.. hehe.

Life, sciency or otherwise interesting stuff on the net and friends.

Not that I know of, though I might've when I was following a conference through u-stream and commented through Twitter; sorry guys

Yes. It's an easy way of having a network and meeting new friends and I learn lots through interesting articles tweeted by them.
