How do you use Twitter in your professional life?
Twitter connects me w/ my fans. I've said it before; I'll say it again: my fans are real people. They want the real me. So that's what I give

Echofon. Can't live without it.

BOTH. Used in tandem can be very powerful....I use my powers for good and not evil!

What are some words or phrases you refuse to shorten for brevity?
Words that replace letters with numbers (l8, 4ever, etc) - I never use "g2g" either!

I'd rather not name names. They know who they are. :)
Have you ever unfollowed someone? Who and why?
Yes. I won't name names but mostly it's because they end up trying to spam me. I like my tweeps to be real people that I can connect with!
Why should we vote for you?
Because I want to get to know each of my tweeps and fans personally. You're all real people! And so am I! That, to me, is very important.

What's the most interesting connection you've made through Twitter?
The most interesting connection I've made thru Twitter is with a DJ in London who changed my life forever. :)

#7stepsaway (well, I didn't create the hashtag. A DJ did. But I wrote the song!)
How do you make your tweets unique?
I use my tweets to keep in touch with people all over the world and take an interest in who they are and what's going on with them.
What inspires you to tweet?
Friends I've never met who are my tweeps - but I feel I've known them for years! We may live continents apart, but they're only a tweet away.
Ever get called out for tweeting too much?
Yes. Once. :)

There are real people on Twitter. Wade through the white noise & find them. You will find some amazing people. Be real and they will be, too.
How long can you go without a tweet?
For some reason, when I'm back in London, I'm addicted to Twitter. But when I'm in NYC or Tokyo, I'm usually on about every other day.

I hope Twitter becomes a bit more integrated internationally so we can use it to more easily connect with people everywhere.

@_agentideas because he's always tweeting useful news, promoting new artists and reaching out to keep in touch with folks in a positive way.

Easy! @5tevenw. He's hilarious and clever.
What is one of the biggest misconceptions of Twitter?
...Possibly that it's all jibber jabber nonsense. There's a lot of wonderful talk on Twitter. I've made some great new friends because of it!
Why should people follow you?
I like connecting with my tweeps & always make sure to reply. I like learning about new people. More interested in connecting than promoting

How do you decide what to tweet?
I tweet what's on my mind. But I always stop think: would I want to read this in my Twitter feed? If so, tweet it!
Why'd you start tweeting?
Actually, I got on Twitter because of the DJ in London who changed my life. Twitter opened up a whole new world for me since then!

What do you wish people would do more of on Twitter?
Connect! Be real and connect! And tweet eloquently. That would be nice, too!
How will the world change in the next year?
People are starting to pay attention and speak up in good ways. I am hopeful that will continue and change the world accordingly.
What are some big Twitter faux pas?
Constantly promoting oneself is a bit sad. Also, spelling/grammar errors are sad as are negative personal attacks & inaccurate information.
What will the world be like 10 years from now?
I think it'll be much more aware of itself as a global community. I'm hopeful it will be a better place than now. Always room for improvement
