Learn More about Camryn
Coming on the scene like a mix of Avril Lavigne & Kesha, pop/rocker Camryn was only 13 years old when her career took off in 2012. In 2011 she joined Cody Simpson on the Waiting 4 U Tour. She became radio's most added independent artist with "Now or Never", an accomplishment due in part to her touring with the teen pop phenomenon One Direction. The MTV network dubbed her a "Buzzworthy" artist & Billboard magazine declared her "one to watch" as their "Bubbling Under" artist. She ended 2012 with a call from One Direction to join them for 63 shows on their European Take Me Home Tour where she debuted her current single 'Lovesick'. The song has quickly climbed Top 40 charts in the US as the music video debuted across MTV Networks worldwide. Camryn has just finished recording her highly anticipated debut album & has already been dropping hints about her next single across social media platforms.
How do you or your organization use social media? What makes your use unique?
To me, Social Media isn't just some one sided conversation where you post things and log off, it's a way of life. From sharing those embarrassing tour moments over snapchat, or saving them forever on instagram and twitter. I think what makes me stand out on Social Media from most users is my ability to connect with fans so easily, since I'm the same age as most of them. I'm going through the same things, regardless of what I'm doing with my life and being able to build friendships with fans, and then finally meeting them when I'm out on the road is more rewarding than any post I could ever make. Being involved in their lives, and excited for their accomplishments is sometimes like having a best friend you haven't met yet. And I'd take a new friend over a fan any day of the week.. and having a constant conversation instead of just a post here and there is what makes my presence across Social Media platforms special.
