It's become a vital source of information, news, contacts feedback and sheer joy of getting to know surprising people in surprising places

I use Tweetie and the web. I tried others but I like the familiar.
Twitter or Facebook?
I update my FB status from Twitter, but occasionally I delete it on FB. Some things are meant only for Twitter. Shhhh!
What feature should Twitter add?
I'd like to tweet physical objects like cookies or cups of cocoa to people, and have them tweet kittens back :-)
Who do you wish had a Twitter feed but doesn't?
I know that @God already has one, but I found his/her tweets surprisingly mundane. Perhaps we really are all created in his/her image?

I've unfollowed people for being abusive or racist. But otherwise I like to stay and listen.

Its a way to recognize all who nominated me, each of whom is fighting for justice, equality, peace & against racism in their own way

Hashtag you created that you wish everyone used?
A good hashtag is one that has no owner.
How do you make your tweets unique?
Hmm. Twitter is like the voice in my head. I tweet the stuff that comes into my mind when I encounter new information.
What inspires you to tweet?
A compulsive urge to say what's on my mind and to spare those around me from having to hear it all the time :-)
Ever get called out for tweeting too much?
Actually, I am surprised I have not been. But that's the beauty. If people don't like, they can unfollow and I never even know...
140 characters of advice for a new user?
Be patient. You might not "get" it at first, but Twitter rewards those who stay for the long haul and who don't mind beautiful digressions.
How long can you go without a tweet?
I guess its like smoking (which I don't do!): I only don't tweet when I'm sleeping or on an airplane.

Who do you admire most for his or her use of Twitter?
People use it in so many different and surprising ways and the interactions are what make it work. So I can't name an individual.
Why'd you start tweeting?
Wow that was more than a year ago? You expect me to remember things that far back in the Twitterverse?
Has Twitter changed your life? If yes, how?
It has put me in touch with people fighting for their rights, recognition all over the world, especially those ignored by the mainstream.
What do you wish people would do more of on Twitter?
Through Twitter I'm to have conversations with people - even antagonists - I couldn't have met any other way. It's a way to listen more
How will the world change in the next year?
I can say about Palestine/Israel, this year more people than ever will understand partition is impossible & start seeking fairer solutions
What are some big Twitter faux pas?
I like that there aren't many rules and there's something for everyone. If you don't like something, don't follow!
What will the world be like 10 years from now?
You can't have infinite expansion on a finite planet. Either we go into space (not) or share better on earth. I think we'll share better.
