I just love the sense that people share my passion, so any tweet that gains a response is my favourite
What are six things you could never do without?
Apart from honey and pollen...and the love of the queen in the hive? An Internet connection, my iPad and tweets!
How do you use Twitter in your professional life?
Everday. Sharing thoughts, news, images and finding out more about the world around us everyday.
What's your favorite Twitter app?
Tweet deck I guess
Twitter or Facebook?
Twitter. Every time.
What was the funniest trend you've seen?
AnfieldCat was incredible how it took off in such a short space of time.
What feature should Twitter add?
Different fonts to express emotions within the limited messages....sweet.
Who do you wish had a Twitter feed but doesn't?
Shirley Ghostman. The guys in the hive loved that man.
What are some words or phrases you refuse to shorten for brevity?
Unbeelievable. Beeutiful.
Is there someone you want to follow you who doesn't already? If so, who?
Obama. He has hives, but seems to have other stuff on his mind I guess.
Have you ever unfollowed someone? Who and why?
Can't remember who, but too much bad language for my liking. It' s acceptable sometimes, but that girl had a potty mouth.
Why should we vote for you?
Because you care about the plight of the planet, the memories of hearing bees buzzing in the countryside & the guys in the hive need you.
Terms you wish would start trending on Twitter right now?
How cool Youcleverbee is.
What's the most interesting connection you've made through Twitter?
Sharing my thoughts with similar people across the globe is simply fascinating. Would never have been possible without twitter.
Hashtag you created that you wish everyone used?
No. I'm digging away with just the basics at this stage
How do you make your tweets unique?
Add a personality. I tweet from a bee's perspective and try to add humour in a informative and impactful way.
What inspires you to tweet?
Anything I consider relevant to my cause.
Ever get called out for tweeting too much?
Not yet, but the guys in the hive are getting restless as I've been on the iPad answering these questions for last 40 mins...
140 characters of advice for a new user?
Keep the message short, interesting, relevant, current and concise. And always read the tweet back to yourself before sending
How long can you go without a tweet?
This is probably the longest. Taken my eyes off the ball answering these questions. Gotta go, Beeyonce tribute act is starting in the hive
What question are we not asking here that we should?
How annoying is it on a scale of 1-10 when you see tweets USING CAPS all the way through?
How do you imagine Twitter changing?
Not sure it needs to. But I'm sure there's ways to link groups of tweets that will come to life through graphics
Who do you admire most for his or her use of Twitter?
I admire anyone that adds value and interest to the world of twitter
Who is the funniest person on Twitter that you follow?
Tim vine and Alan Partridge
What is one of the biggest misconceptions of Twitter?
Full of unimportant individuals that have nothing better to do with their lives...oh, that's Facebook.
Why should people follow you?
I'm standing up for the little guy. The bee. We may be small, but the world depends on us to keep the planet alive. Spread the word.
Can you name some one-of-a-kind Twitter accounts that you follow?
No, nothing comes to mind. Most people that follow me are individuals & organizations interested in bee survival.
How do you decide what to tweet?
Anything I feel adds value to the twitter community
Why'd you start tweeting?
Loved the idea of short bursts of info put out into the global community. Makes the world a smaller, more intimate place.
Has Twitter changed your life? If yes, how?
Didn't think it would, but it has. We are all sponges and twitter allows us to absorb & share nuggets of info across the globe
What do you wish people would do more of on Twitter?
Follow me, and spread the word. Now buzz off!
How will the world change in the next year?
Governments will ban pesticides. Realize we bees are in serious danger without human intervention, and bankers will be more responsible.
What are some big Twitter faux pas?
Not including links when indicated on tweet. People who tweet over more than one tweet to get a point across. Not having an opinion
What will the world be like 10 years from now?
Hopefully a more united, stable and caring planet. This can only bee realised if we give bees a chance. Did John Lennon say that?
