What's your best tweet?
That's not really for me to say. Best to ask those who follow me, as I'd be rather biased.
What are six things you could never do without?
My Girlfriend, daughter, books, music, Big Bang Theory and my wit.
How do you use Twitter in your professional life?
As a stay-at-home dad, Twitter provides me with my only constant source of adult conversation (outside my relationship, that is).
What's your favorite Twitter app?
None. I prefer to use plain ol' vanilla twitter.
Twitter or Facebook?
Twitter, hands down.
What was the funniest trend you've seen?
#lessawesomebooktitles
What feature should Twitter add?
A "Who's Online" feature. Tired of wasting my timely tweets on people who aren't there. ;)
Who do you wish had a Twitter feed but doesn't?
God, so we'd know exactly what he thinks about people who claim to work for him.
What are some words or phrases you refuse to shorten for brevity?
I refuse to shorten almost any word or phrase for brevity's sake. Though I will use "1st" instead of "first", but only when I run out of....
Is there someone you want to follow you who doesn't already? If so, who?
@BrentButt, @MattyWatts or @rickygervais.
Have you ever unfollowed someone? Who and why?
Indeed, I have. He claimed a certain LGBTQ online paper was transphobic; I saw no evidence to support his claims.
Why should we vote for you?
Besides the fact that I'm all kinds of awesome wrapped up in brilliance with a nerdtasticly chewy center?
Terms you wish would start trending on Twitter right now?
What's the most interesting connection you've made through Twitter?
Connecting with Toronto's LGBTQ activist scene has helped this straight boy get a clearer picture of just what they go through every day.
Hashtag you created that you wish everyone used?
#GayOkay
How do you make your tweets unique?
By being funnier than most people, obviously.
What inspires you to tweet?
My seeing the world as one fucked up place and wanting to unfuck it.
Ever get called out for tweeting too much?
Not so far. Of course, more than a few of my followers tweet at least as often as I do.
140 characters of advice for a new user?
Use proper spelling/grammar, for the love of all things nerdy. If I can't understand you, I won't follow you.
How long can you go without a tweet?
About 10-12 hours. But, to be fair, I'm usually sleeping during that time.
What question are we not asking here that we should?
Which Star Trek Captain has the sexier voice? Kirk, Picard, Sisko, Janeway or Archer?
How do you imagine Twitter changing?
Hopefully, it won't change all too much. Hell, once you get use to one format, they thrust another, more confusing one, on you.
Who do you admire most for his or her use of Twitter?
@rickygervais
Who is the funniest person on Twitter that you follow?
It's a tie between @BrentButt and @rickygervais.
What is one of the biggest misconceptions of Twitter?
To be honest, I haven't a clue. Only heard good things about the Twitter.
Why should people follow you?
Despite my bravado, I really don't see why people follow me. So, you'd have to ask my modest clan of twitter fans why they follow me.
Can you name some one-of-a-kind Twitter accounts that you follow?
@LoveGod50, @CoryBooker, @Monicks
How do you decide what to tweet?
It's a toss up between whatever's on my mind and responses to topics I think warrant a response.
Why'd you start tweeting?
Because, like virtually everyone else on Twitter, I'm a big phat attention whore.
Has Twitter changed your life? If yes, how?
Twitter's allowed me to interact with people I normally wouldn't have gotten the chance to do so with. So, in short, yes it has.
What do you wish people would do more of on Twitter?
Hold back on the homophobia and general Rightwing nuttery.
How will the world change in the next year?
Those on the religious far Right will become increasingly marginalized, to the point where we will barely notice them.
What are some big Twitter faux pas?
Tweeting nothing but links; doing nothing but retweeting.
What will the world be like 10 years from now?
A place where LGBTQ families are significant part of the world's normative; a place where everyone feels safe.
