We love both! Social media is a huge part of getting the word out about the organization and connecting with our supporters.

There are a lot of funny trends at any given time on Twitter.

Because TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery.

We've learned about things our supporters are going through and have been able to connect with them instantly in their time of need.

How do you make your tweets unique?
We try to make each one positive, and hopeful, or point to something of relevance for our cause. We people to feel connected.
What inspires you to tweet?
People, stories, hope, pain, awareness, believing in bigger things, and letting people know they're not alone.
Ever get called out for tweeting too much?
Thankfully, no we haven't.

Have fun with Twitter. It's a great place to share your thoughts and check out what other people are doing in their daily lives.
How long can you go without a tweet?
We try not to overtweet, because we want each of our tweets to be meaningful. Sometimes we only post once a day.

How do you imagine Twitter changing?
As more companies / brands join Twitter there will probably be a shift towards focusing on things that benefit those brands.

We admire everyone who uses their Twitter to spread positive messages to others.

What is one of the biggest misconceptions of Twitter?
That it's a website used to "stalk" people.
Why should people follow you?
To connect with supporters, keep up to date with the organization, stay informed on mental health issues, and hopefully be inspired.

We try to tweet things that are meaningful, engage our audience, and are relevant to the issues that TWLOHA is about.
Why'd you start tweeting?
We started tweeting because we wanted to find an additional way to connect with others.
Has Twitter changed your life? If yes, how?
Twitter has allowed us to connect with our supporters in a new way. We appreciate the simple but powerful way we can communicate with others.
What do you wish people would do more of on Twitter?
Refrain from Twitter fighting, posting mean things about people, using the internet for hate.
How will the world change in the next year?
The world will become more aware of mental health issues due to the heartbreaking loss of life last year as a direct result of bullying.
What are some big Twitter faux pas?
What will the world be like 10 years from now?
Hopefully a loving, accepting place, free from stigma where people can embrace who they are without judgement.
