What's your favorite Twitter app?
I honestly use the actual Twitter site to do most of what I do. I do use UberTwitter, but I just pretend to be a tech-guy!
Twitter or Facebook?
Twitter. Facebook is still valuable for me, but I update Facebook almost exclusively through Twitter. Twitter is easy.
What was the funniest trend you've seen?
I love the trends that reminisce about stuff back in the day like #10yearsago
What feature should Twitter add?
Allow Twitter search to go all of the way back to the launch of the app. That would be amazing!
Who do you wish had a Twitter feed but doesn't?
@BarackObama - yes. I know he has a Twitter account, but I would love to see his real time thoughts on the presidency!
What are some words or phrases you refuse to shorten for brevity?
I'm still not a big fan of abbreviated words. Pretty much the only words I shorten are U for "you" or 4 "for" or w/ for "with" or & for "and
Is there someone you want to follow you who doesn't already? If so, who?
@sOuljabOytellem - I think this young dude is full of untapped potential. He gets Social Media, but could flip it for good in amazing ways.
Have you ever unfollowed someone? Who and why?
Yeah actually. Unfollowed some spam accounts and also have unfollowed some people that ended up just being too negative.

I work very hard to convert every ounce of influence I gain from Twitter to produce real hope and social change.

We connected 1000s of people together during the Atlanta floods via Twitter & http://hopeATL.com to make a HUGE difference in the world!
How do you make your tweets unique?
As a pastor, there is a real temptation to only show the HOLY side of life, but I try hard to honestly show 360 degrees of my everyday world.
What inspires you to tweet?
In addition to tweeting to just document my life, I continue to push so hard because Twitter can be used to do so much good in the world!
Ever get called out for tweeting too much?
Indeed. Even though I have over 15,000 tweets, Twitter is far from being a time drain. I do most from my Blackberry during idle moments.
140 characters of advice for a new user?
Be yourself - all of the time. Push for ways to use Twitter to help people. Reply to as many messages as possible.
How long can you go without a tweet?
Not long :-) Not long at all!
Who do you admire most for his or her use of Twitter?
I really learned how to tweet well from @LosWhit - a great guy that uses social media for the best causes.
Why'd you start tweeting?
I was an early adopter to Twitter nearly 3 years ago and started using it just to let me close friends and family know what I was up to.
Has Twitter changed your life? If yes, how?
Yes. Twitter has genuinely connected me with amazing people all over the world that I think I would not know otherwise.
What do you wish people would do more of on Twitter?
Join together to use our collective energy to bring about real change in the world. We have done this, but could do SO MUCH MORE!
How will the world change in the next year?
With economies squeezed across the world, innovation will grow out of necessity. Generosity will defy the odds and grow as well.
What are some big Twitter faux pas?
The unreliability of Twitter from day to day has grown a bit old for many. I'm willing to grow with it though.
What will the world be like 10 years from now?
Smaller. Much smaller. Social media will continue to flatten the world and bring diverse people groups together.
