I love to interact with, share information with, and organize with, people who care about making the world a better place

Twitter is about sharing. Take an interest in others. Don't try to be all about yourself.

That it is for "updating" your "status" in a "timeline" for your "followers".
Why should people follow you?
If they believe in human rights and social justice. Anyone else I wouldn't be interested in.

I look for stuff that's (a) important & not available elsewhere and/or (b) cool.
Why'd you start tweeting?
I started to tweet about legal issues, but I've gone way beyond that. Now it's more about friendship and learning

Yes. Cut deeply into my working time. Made me a much more knowledgeable person. Made me a lot of new friends.
What do you wish people would do more of on Twitter?
Share. Retweet (traditional retweet, not Twitter's fake pseudo retweet)

Talking at rather than to people; being too self promotional; being selfish.

I don't know. I'm just hoping there are still humans in it.
